ULTRASOUNDS

Ultrasound also called sonography, is an imaging method that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of structures within your body. It is often used to help physicians evaluate symptoms such as: pain, swelling, and infection.  Ultrasound images, read by our board-certified radiologists, can provide valuable information for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and conditions.

Ultrasounds are a safe procedure that uses low-power sound waves. There are no known risks.
